Microloan Program FAQs: Documentation

  • For loans up to $15,000, you will need to provide your last two (2) years’ business and personal tax returns. If you have not yet filed your 2020 tax return, we encourage you to file both business and personal tax returns before applying for a loan with BCF.
    • You will also need the following:
      • Your last three months’ business bank statements
      • NMSDC Certification certificate or your application indicating that certification is in process
      • Two forms of identification
        • Driver’s License
        • Passport
        • Debit/Credit card
        • Other valid forms of identification
  • For loans from $15,001 up to $100,000, you will need to provide your last three (3) years’ business and personal tax returns. If you have not yet filed your 2020 tax return, we encourage you to file both business and personal tax returns before applying for a loan with BCF.
    • You will also need the following:
      • Your last three months’ business bank statements
      • NMSDC Certification certificate or your application indicating that certification is in process
